K-12 Education

All Louisiana children deserve access to a high-quality education so they can reach their full potential. But in Louisiana, starkly unequal opportunities and outcomes in education mean that far too many children fall through the cracks. Racial and economic disparities plague our education system and hamper children in communities of color and rural communities from reaching their full potential.

Louisiana can do better to help ensure all Louisiana students have access to the education and resources they need to succeed. By investing in quality public education, Louisiana can expand economic opportunities for its people and bring our economy into the 21st century.
