Better Choices for a Better Louisiana — Day at the Capitol May 4th, 12:00pm

Join us on the steps of the State Capitol May 4th at noon to share BCBL’s legislative agenda to create better choices for a better Louisiana. Together we can demonstrate that the people of Louisiana want a balanced approach to solving Louisiana’s fiscal crisis that includes revenue raising measures and increased transparency. Our elected officials need to hear from YOU that an approach based solely on cutting education, human services, healthcare, and other vital services risks serious, long-term damage to the state and its people!

Our agenda includes speakers from Louisiana Progress, Education NOW, Louisiana Consumer Healthcare Coalition, the Louisiana Budget Project, Louisiana Federation of Teachers, Interfaith Works, and the American Cancer Society.

If you or able to join us, or bring a group to our day at the capitol, please RSVP to ashley@lano.org, and remember to dress for the weather and bring a bottle of water along!
