Over 850,000 Louisianans use SNAP benefits (formerly Food Stamps) to put food on the table. But some SNAP recipients may not get the full benefits they qualify for, and other people who would qualify for SNAP may choose not to apply because they don’t think the benefits will be enough to make a difference.
