The Louisiana Budget Project (LBP) is looking to hire a full-time person to handle all aspects of communications and public relations.

Each year, Louisiana grants more than $4 billion in tax refunds, credits, incentives, exclusions, and deductions to corporations and individuals. Some entities receive tax rebates even if they don’t have a tax liability.

It’s been an exciting and busy few weeks around the Louisiana Budget Project. The Legislative session ended. Our office moved to downtown Baton Rouge. And the Affordable Care Act was upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court.
